Minutes of PTA Meeting 22nd November 2011

Dear Parents,

Your PTA Committee met on the evening of 22^nd November and would like to update you as follows:

· A huge thank you for your generosity with donations for the sweet tombola and Secrets Room; extra gifts suitable for Dads would be especially well received.

· Bag-To-School day Monday 28^thNovember – have a clear out before Christmas! Bags by 9am please. (Spare bags in the Office).

· Friday 25^th November – bottle tombola donations for the Fair please in exchange for ‘Wear Your Own Clothes’

· Friday 2^nd December will be Cake Donations Day for the Fair in exchange for Christmas hats/hair. (We would also welcome a cash donation in lieu of cakes, thank you).

· If anyone would like to donate a prize for the Raffle it would be most welcome. Look out in the playground for advance ticket sales. 1^st prize is half the takings. The more you buy the more you could win!

· We are busy looking for people to help man the stalls at the Christmas Fair – please see your Class Rep or Colette Evans in the playground to put your name down.

· Friday School-Run Coffee Club: All welcome in the Blue Anchor for Coffee/Tea and Bacon/Sausage Sandwich on Friday mornings, hosted by Rose at the Blue Anchor for Platt School parents to get together.

At the meeting we agreed PTA Funding for the following:

· The Coach for our Choir to sing at the O2

· The Yr 4 French Trip

· New Books for KS1

· After School Football Coaching (KS2)

· Year books for Yr 6

We have also scheduled the PTA meetings for the next year – please ask your class rep or check white board for venue (or any change of date). We would love to see some new faces, so please come along:
